1. Sift togeter first six ingredients. Cut in shortening until crumbly.
2. Combine sweet potatoes and milk with mixtre to form a pliable dough.
3. Roll to 1/2" thickness and cut with biscuit cutter. Place on greased cookie sheet and bake at 375° for 12-15 minutes. Makes 18-20 biscuits.
