Boil potatoes until tender. Mash/whip potatoes and mix sugar, vanilla and egg with potatoes. Place this mixture in 11x13 dish. In a separate dish, mix flour, br. sugar, butter and pecans. Crumble on top of sweet potatoes. Cook in oven 10 min @ 300 deg. (Can make a day in advance and then bake appx 1 hour)
