Preheat 325.
Cook potatoes in boiling water until tender, 15-20 mins. Drain and whip. Add sugar, eggs, salt, butter, milk & vanilla. Mix well.
Pour potato mixture in greased 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. Bake at 325 for 25 mins.
Place marshmallows and pecans on top and return to oven for about 5 mins or until brown on top.
