Suggest a better description1. Preheat the oven to 375ºF.
2. Place the potato slices in a single layer on a rimmed baking sheet sprayed with cooking spray. Brush them evenly with 2 tablespoons of the dressing. Bake in the preheated 375ºF oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until they are tender.
3. Meanwhile, bring the onions & the remaining dressing to a boil in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Reduce the heat to medium-low & simmer them for 10 minutes, or until the onions are lightly browned, stirring frequently. Stir in the water & remove the skillet from the heat. Cover the skillet & let it stand until you are ready to use them.
4. Arrange the sweet potato slices in a single layer on a platter. Top them with the onions, cream cheese spread & pecans.
SPECIAL EXTRA: For added flair, spoon cream cheese spread into a resealable plastic bay. Cut a small corner from the bottom of the bag & squeeze the cream cheese onto the onion-topped potatoes. Tops with pecans.
