Add 3 tablespoons dry rub and rub in a large bowl or sealable bag. Add the wings and toss until evenly coated. Marinate for at least 4 hours.
Heat a 1 quart sauce pan to medium low heat on grill side burner. Melt butter and add remaining ingredients. Simmer for 10 minutes or until sauce begins to slightly bubble. Keep warm.
Meanwhile, preheat gas grill to medium heat. Spray with a generous amount of olive oil spray.
Cook wings for about 20-25 minutes, turning frequently. The last few turns, brush with half of the pineapple sauce.
