Suggest a better descriptionCook bacon in a non stick skillet until crisp - about 6 minutes. Drain on paper towels. Stir together mayonnaise, bacon, chives, lemon zest, and kosher salt in a small bowl. Cut crusts off of bread. Spread bread with mayo mixture. Slice tomatoes into 1/4" thick slices and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Top 5 mayo coated bread slices, mayo side up with tomatoes. Add 5 mayo coated slices, mayo side up. Add another layer of tomatoes. Place final 5 slices of bread on top, mayo side down. Cut each sandwich into 4 pieces. Serve immediately or prepare 1 hr. ahead and top with damp paper towels and plastic wrap. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
