Suggest a better descriptionUse fully ripe firm strawberries, Wash and crush, one layer at a time. Measure into a large bowl. Add sugar; mix thoroughly and let stand for 10 minutes. Combine water and pectin in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add fruit and continue stirring for 3 minutes. Ladle quickly into containers. Cover at once with lids. Allow to set at room temperature for 24 hours. Store in freezer.
