Suggest a better descriptionTake 2 chicken breasts flattened/pounded/beaten and place in a dish.
Combine the ingredients for the teriyaki sauce. Pour the sauce over the chicken and allow to marinate for 30 minutes to 1 hour. I have noticed that marinating for any longer than that makes the dish too strong.
Heat griddle to 500 degrees and cook on each side for a minute or two until done. Do not over cook chicken so it stays tender. The chicken is very flat and will cook quickly.
Immediately take off grill and slice into ½" to 1" wide strips and serve over white rice.
* If you like to add additional sauce to your rice, you may use a lower sodium soy sauce. It is quite strong.
