1. Place the steak in a container and add the marinade ingredients. Massage the flavors into the beef for 1 minute. Seal and place in the fridge for 2 hours
Heat a small saucepan on low heat. Add oil, garlic, lemongrass and kaffir lime leaves and sweat for 1 minute or until the garlic turns light brown. Remove from heat and stir in the lime juice, fish sauce and brown sugar until combined. Set aside.
Grill the beef allow it to rest and slice against the grain. Add the salad greens, red onion, and cucumbers with most of the dressing to a large bowl. Toss the salad and top with beef. Garnish with mint leave and green onions
