Suggest a better descriptionPreheat oven to 325 degrees
Heat a 12-inch skillet over medium flame and melt butter
Add celery, onion and carrot, Saute for 15 minutes or until tender
Blend in thyme, salt, pepper, sage, and chicken broth
Remove skillet from heat
Place bread cubes in a large bowl
Pour broth mixture over bread crumbs and mix well
Transfer to a 13 x 9 inch pan and cover with foil.
Bake for 40 minutes or until stuffing is heated through.
If you like a crunchy top on your stuffing remove foil with 10 minutes left in the baking time.
