This is from the "A Taste of Kansas City - Then and Now" cookbook...
Prepare a 5x15x3 inch pan (unusual size but the key to this recipe) and preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine cake ingredients one at a time, mixing after each addition. Beat at least 7 minutes. Mix cinnamon, sugar and nuts for topping in a separate bowl. Layer 1/2 of batter in pan. Top with 1/2 of topping mixture. Add all chocolate chips, if using, at this time. Add remaining batter and the last of the topping. Bake for approximately 50 minutes or until a tester comes out clean.
NOTE: May use a bundt pan but it will need to bake longer.
