This slow cooker recipe is a guaranteed hit with the men!
Prepare Onion, Cabbage and Apple as instructed.
Cut Smoked Sausage and Kielbasa into 1 inch pieces.
Saute Onion in Butter until soft.
Combine Sauerkraut:
- Onion
- Cabbage
- Sauerkraut
- Apple
- Juniper Berries
Add Wine and Water to crock pot.
Put in Smoked Pork Butt, Kielbasa and Smoked Sausage.
Top with Sauerkraut.
Cook on high for 5 hours.
Remove Juniper Berries.
Serve.
Great with Mashed Potatoes.
Tip: Never open lid to crock pot while cooking.
