Suggest a better descriptionPut butter and both sugars in a stand mixer or mixing bowl. Use paddle attachment on medium speed, electric whisk, or wooden spoon to cream ingredients until paler but not fluffy, 1-2 minutes.
Add egg and bet evenly until combined
In separate bowl, mix dry ingredients. Fold into butter mixture using a rubber spatula. Add chocolate, folding into dough until evenly distributed.
Immediately scoop into balls, place on 2 cookie sheets lined with parchment paper. Cover with plastic wrap and chill 12+ hours.
Heat oven to 350. Bake 13 minutes until edges are puffed and golden but middle is not quite set. Cool on baking sheet before serving. Makes 14 cookies.
