Combine olive oil and walnuts in small skillet. Heat, stirring, over very low heat just until walnuts are lightly browned. Turn off heat, remove walnuts with slotted spoon. Add vinegar or lemon juice, salt and pepper to oil.
Toss salad greens and dressing in large bowl. Distribute among four bowls. Top each salad with a few walnuts and Parmesan curls. Serve with Italian bread.
