Next time will try Thompson's as the former was underwhelming although with some adjustments it improved remarkably.
The above ingredients are additional to the original recipe's. I charred the shells and let the stock with the aromatics simmer for 30 minutes or so instead of 5 minutes . Then strained it only after, added lime juice, tamarind, fish sauce and poured on top of raw shelled prawns. Topped with herbs, bean sprouts and the one remaining chili pepper
