Suggest a better descriptionSaute onions, leeks, and garlic in 1/2 cup water until transparent (about 15 minutes). Add the remaining 3 1/2 cups of water, the tomatoes, parsley, thyme, basil, and the bay leaf. Simmer, covered, over low heat for 60 minutes. Remove cover; simmer for 30 minutes longer. Add tamari just before serving. HELPFUL HINTS: This soup is great with fresh, homemade bread. Add a green salad fro an interesting meal. A large can of tomatoes (28 ounces) may be substituted for fresh tomatoes. Recipe By : File ftp://ftp.idiscover.co.uk/pub/food/mealmaster/recipes/mmdja006.zip
