This recipe has been handed down over the years.
Peel tomatoes and slice or chop. Chop onions finely and add the 2 together in a large saucepan.
Add all other ingredients and bring to boil. Boil with lid off for 20 - 30 minutes.
Thicken with 1 teaspoon of cornflour blended with 1 tab. of vinegar.
Cool and bottle in sterilized jars.
