Serio family Italian tomato sauce
Source: Serio Family
Empty 3 cans of tomato paste and 1 can of tomato sauce into sauce pan. Add 3 cans of water for each can of paste into sauce pan. Heat and stir until paste is dissolved. Add paste or water for desired thickness. Add basil, oregano, minced onion, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt to the sauce.
Stir sauce and heat to boil. Lower heat and bring to a simmer. Add desired meats. Cook until done.
Amounts are suggested but may be varied to taste. Also spices may be fresh if desired. Can of tomato sauce helps to stretch the sauce out. Recommend Hunts or Contadina. Can be substituted with another can of paste.
