Suggest a better descriptionPreheat broiler. Wash and trim zucchini. Cut into 1/2 inch chunks or slices. Heat oil in 10 inch stove top to oven dish. Add onion and garlic. Saute over low heat until tender until brown. About 5 minutes. Add zucchini, saute over med heat until edges begin to brown. Cut tomatoes into 1/2 inch chunks. Add to zucchini, season with S & P. Cook, covered over medium heat 10 minutes. Uncover , boil gently until some of liquid evaporates, about 5 minutes. Just before serving, sprinkle with cheese, and place in broiler. Broil until cheese melts.
