Easy take on a classic favorite.
The morning of meal, separate cheese slices, place parchment paper between slices, fold slices in half. Place in plastic freezer bag and freeze until prep time (6-8 hours min).
Prep Time
-cut chicken breast, through side, but not fully in half, so it can be folded around cheese
-season chicken breast with 1 tablespoon Curry & Pineapple spice each, inside and out
-place frozen folded slice of cheese inside of sliced chicken breast, and fold chicken closed around it
-wrap chicken breast in sliced deli ham (2 slices ham per breast), using toothpicks to secure closed
-Place chicken breasts in baking dish
-Bake covered, 425°F for 30 minutes
Let set for 5 minutes before serving.
Can use boneless skinless chicken thighs in place of chicken breast for dark meat lovers
