In large soup pot, break up and brown sausage, drain. Add remaining ingredients. Heat to boiling, add 10 oz tortellini and simmer 5-7 minutes until soft.
Cut bread horizontally in half. Spread butter on each side, sprinkle with garlic salt. Close and slice. Wrap in foil bake @ 400 for 20 minutes.
