Mix sausage, bread crumbs, egg and milk together. Form into balls and brown in skillet until fully cooked.
Chop green onion, celery and carrots and add to 1/4 of the chicken broth in a medium size pan. Simmer on medium high heat. Add garlic, parsley and tomatoes. In a large stock pot, bring water to boil and cook tortellini for 7 minutes. Drain and rinse. Pour rest of chicken broth into stock pot, add tortellini, sausage meatballs and mixture from the medium size pan. Simmer for 20 minutes and serve.
Can top with parmesan and pair with crusty bread for a hearty meal.
