Suggest a better descriptionRemove crusts, cut bread into 1 inch squares. Place in lightly buttered overproof dish, with alternate layers of sultanas mixed with the grated lemon rind. Beat eggs lightly w/2 Tbsps of sugar and all the milk. Pour custard over bread, sprinkle remaining sugar over the top and bake in a preheated oven at 350? for about 30 mins.
