Put all the ingredients into a heavy base pan, Melt slowly bring the mixture up to the boil. Boil without stirring for 15mins Pour into a buttered swiss roll tin this stops it from sticking as the mixture sets, you can mark it into squares when it cools slightly which makes it easy to break once the toffe is cold
To test if the toffe is setting drop a teaspoonful into a saucer of cold water
