Preheat oven to 375. Mix sugar, cornstarch and cinnamon. Sprinkle onto the berries the gently stir. Fold in jam. Set Aside
Place a crust into 9" deep dish pie pan. Pour in very mixture. Top with remaining crust and crimp the edges to seal. Cut slits in top to let steam escape.
Wish the egg w one tablespoon water and brush onto crust. Place pie on a parchment lined baking sheet. Bake 55-75 minutes checking periodically to make sure the edges are not getting to brown. If so, cover them w foil until pie is golden brown.Cool pie completely before serving.
