Preheat a deep fry pan on med-hi heat.
Add olive oil and saute onions till they are translucent.
Remove outer casing from sausage, and add to pan crumbling into small pieces.
Cook till there is no pink.
Add mascarpone cheese along with 1 ladle of the pasta cooking water. Stir well until blended.
Drain the cooked pasta (save some of the water to add to sauce if necessary)
Add pasta, basil, parsley, pepper and nutmeg to pan and mix well.
If sauce is too thick, add some of the pasta water.
