Ty's Mac'n Cheese
1. Salt your pasta water generously.
2. Don't overcook the noodles.
3. Make a real sauce:
Melt 1/2 a stick of butter and add 4 tbsp flour. Whisk and combine, and cook for a few minutes so the flour doesn't taste raw.
Add 2 1/2 cups of heavy cream and whisk again. Watch it thicken and turn into sauce.
4. Add onion or garlic powder into the sauce. Other spices and seasonings are also acceptable.
5. Add Cheese! Go wild with the cheese varieties. Mix and match. Grated, into the sauce.
6. Combine Sauce with cooked pasta in a large bowl.
7. Put your pasta that has been combined with sauce into an oven-safe container for baking. Keep in mind surface area exposure.
8. Combine garlic breadcrumbs and butter to the top of the pasta.
9. Bake for 20-25 minutes at a 375 degree oven.
