Suggest a better descriptionLine bottom of 2 round glass layer cake dishes with wax paper. Set aside. Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Set aside. Divide pie filling between cake dishes, spreading evenly over the bottom. Divide batter between cake dishes, over top of pie filling. Cover with wax paper. Microwave one layer at a time. Place on inverted saucer in microwave oven. Microwave at medium high (70%) 5 minutes. Remove wax paper. Microwave at high (100%) until top springs back at touch, 2 to 3 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes. Invert onto serving plate. Carefully remove wax paper. Repeat with remaining layer. Cool completely. Place second layer on first Frost sides with Cool Whip. Serve.
