Vanilla Cupcakes with vanilla butter cream icing and a cherry on top!
Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Mix the butter and sugar, then beat in the flour and eggs, adding gradually until a smooth batter is formed. Stir in the vanilla extract.
Spoon the mixture into paper cases and bake for 20 minutes, until a knife comes out clean from being inserted into the middle.
Once cool, combine the icing sugar and melted butter, add the vanilla extract, as much as your preference desires, teaspoon at a time until a firm consistency (may need to add more icing sugar depending on how much vanilla extract you add.)
Spread this topping onto each cupcake, and then place half a glacie cherry on top of each for the finishing touch!
