Mix flour, 4 whole eggs, baking powder, 3 teaspoons salt, olive oil, and water to make dough.
Separately combine cheese, egg yolks, 2 teaspoons salt, and pepper to make filling.
Roll out dough in a long strip four inches wide.
Place a one inch ball of filling on one side of dough every four inches.
Fold dough over to form a sandwich and use a four inch diameter glass to cut dough and filling into separate pieces.
Place in boiling water until verenika rises to the top.
Fry in oil until golden brown.
Serve with maple syrup or white sweet gravey.
Goes well with sausage.
