2. In separate bowl, beat eggs. Add milk, butter and vanilla. Stir milk mixture into flour mixture; beat until blended.
3. Batter shouldn't be perfectly smooth. If it's thicker than heavy cream, add milk. Thin batter makes tender waffles.
4. Cook in waffle iron according to directions.
