This is a "western" version of fried rice that's very easy to customize to your own tastes...
Precook rice - bring rice, water and salt to a boil, cover and turn down to simmer for 20 minutes. put aside
When rice is done, heat WOK or other large pan til HOT, add oil then ground beef, season with salt/pepper and cook til brown. Taste and adjust Salt, pepper and add bouquet garni (or thyme) and worchestershire sauce, stirring constantly. Add rice, stirring constantly. Add frozen vegetables and stir constantly. Don't overcook. It's done when vegetables are no longer frozen and just barely cooked.
