Place butter in saucepan, melt over medium heat on stovetop. Add the dry ingredients. Uses whisk to blend. Slowly add the milk and whisk until smooth in between the addition of the milk. Cook until mixture boils stirring to ensure no lumps form.
Yield 1 cup.
Can increase quantity for each cup of milk add the same amount of base ingredients.i.e. For 2 cup yield double the recipe.
For cheese sauce add 4 Tbsp grated cheese & 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
For lasagna, add 1/4 Parmesan cheese
For curry sauce add 1/2 tsp curry ( can add more to suit your taste)
