Cream margarine. Add sugar and eggs and mix well. Add milk, flour, salt, baking powder and vanilla and mix well. Pour into greased 8 x 12 baking dish.
Bake at 350 F. for 30 min.
Prick white cake with meat fork while warm. Pour 1 cup of soupy jello mix over cake. Place in fridge to cool. When cool top with dream whip and serve.
