Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix Crisco, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla in a bowl until creamy and smooth. Beat in the eggs. In a separate bowl mix flour and baking soda, then gradually add to the creamed mixture. Once mixed, stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Drop spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake approximately 10-12 minutes.
