Simple and quick
Saute the onion, garlic, and olive oil together in a skillet;do not brown the onion. Drain and reserve the liquid from the clams(which should be water-packed). Add the clams to the skillet,stir for a few seconds. Add all
of the liquid, wine, pepper, and parsley. Turn the heat down low; do not let the juice boil off.
Cook 1 lb. of linguine in boiling salted water until tender. drain. Serve on a warm platter. Pour clam sauce over the linguine.
