Place all ingredients into a medium pot. Turn the heat on medium high. When the liquid comes to a full boil, turn the heat down to medium low and cover with a tight fitting lid. Allow to cook 15 minutes. Check to see if the rice is done by cutting into the middle with a utensil and slightly pushing the rice to one side just enough to see to the bottom of the pot. It is done cooking when no more water remains at the bottom. Serve.
*Stir butter into the rice to retain the moisture and add flavor.
