Yummy Waffles. Topped with Maple-Blueberry Sauce and a little whipped topping these are good enough to be dessert as well as breakfast!
Made slightly healthier. Makes about 8 large (4 section) waffles. My serving size = 2 sections. Enjoy.
Sift together flours, sugar, baking powder and salt. Add flaxmeal.
In a bowl, beat the egg yolks, add milk, vanilla and vegetable oil, mix and then add the sifted dry ingredients.
In a small bowl, beat the egg whites to a thick foam and fold them gently into your preparation. Your batter is ready. Cook your waffles following the instructions of your waffle maker.
Serve waffles hot, immediately after cooking with butter, syrup, honey or jam, top with fresh fruits or try with Maple Blueberry sauce. YUMMY.
The nutrition information on this is incorrect. It doesn't take into account the Flaxmeal.
