Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Add flours, baking powder, baking soda, sugar and salt to bowl of food processor with blade attachment installed. Pulse 3-4 times until combined. Add cold butter pieces and pulse 10-12 times until mixture resembles coarse meal. Add buttermilk and process only until dry ingredients are moistened, 4-5 seconds.
Turn dough out onto lightly floured surface and knead lightly 4-5 times. Roll dough out to about 1-inch thickness. Cut with a biscuit cutter and place biscuits onto ungreased baking sheet.
Bake biscuits for about 12-14 minutes or until brown.
