Suggest a better descriptionPrepare rice according to package directions and set aside. Melt butter in a large sauce pan. Add onion and cook until tender. Stir in flour, salt and dash of pepper. Gradually stir in half & half and chicken broth. Cook, stirring constantly until thickened. Stir in chicken, parsley, almonds and rice. Put in 2 quart casserole and bake for 20 minutes at 425 F.
