Afer browning the meat and pouring off the remaining oil mix the remaining ingredients down to the noodles in the skillet that you cooked the meat. Cook and drain the noodles or zuchinni strips. In a bowl mix the ingredients following the noodles except for the mozzarella cheese.. In a 9 by 13 pan layer the meat filling, the noodles, the noodles the cottage cheese mix and the mozz. cheese. leaving enough room on top for a final layer of mozz cheese. Should be about 3 layers of noodles. Bake at 375 for 30 minutes. enjoy.
To make a lower calorie version of this recipe I substitute zuchinni slices for the noodles. use only one package of mozz. cheese, fat free cottage cheese and I add a can of drained mushroom slices.
