Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Mix all ingredients in order listed with mixer. Stir in oats. Add raisins, nuts, or other favorite add ins.
Drop on cookie sheet in 1 1/2" balls. Bake for 12 - 15 minutes or until golden. Do not overbake.
Remove from cookie sheet and cool on rack.
