Using the leftover fruit from sangria to make marmalade.
1. Mince the leftover sangria fruit. Does not have to be drained completely.
2. In a heavy sauce pot, combine fruit, water and sugar. Bring to boil.
3. Simmer for 45 minutes. Stir occasionally.
4. Store in clean containers.
Sauce can be stored in the refrigerator or frozen into small portions. Frozen cubes can be used to flavor water.
Marmalade is great on pancakes, dessert and meats.
