Pour the bourbon and syrup into a large heat proof mug. Add coffee and stir. Top with whipped cream. Drizzle more brown sugar syrup over the top and sprinkle with nutmeg. Serve with a straw.
To make the brown sugar simple syrup, bring equal parts water and brown sugar to a simmer until the sugar dissolves and the syrup thickens to the desired consistency.
