1. PREHEAT OVEN TO 350. GREASE DOUGHNUT PAN.
2. IN A LARGE BOWL, PLACE THE FLOUR, XANTHAN GUM, ( 6 T COCOA), BAKING POWDER, SODA, CREAM OF TARTAR, SALT, NUTMEG AND
SUGAR, WHISK.
3. ADD BUTTER, OIL, VANILLA AND YOGURT...MIX WELL.
4. FILL BOTTOM OF DOUGHNUT WELLS AND COOK FOR 3-4 MINUTES OR IF USING DOUGHNUT PAN, FILL 3/4 FULL. DO UNTIL LIGHTLY
BROWNED.
5. WHILE DOUGHNUTS ARE COOLING MAKE GLAZE
6. CAN FREEZE UNTIL GLAZED DOUGHNUTS
PLAIN GLAZE:
1. PUT 1CUP CONFECTIONERS' SUGAR AND 2T MILK BLEND AND ADD MILK BY 1/2 t UNTIL SMOOTH BUT THICKLY POURABLE.
CHOCOLATE GLAZE:
1. IN SMALL BOWL PLACE 1 C CONFECTIONERS' SUGAR, 1T COCOA POWDER & 2T MILK AND MIX WELL. ADD MILK BY 1/2 t UNTIL
SMOOTH BUT THICKLY POURABLE
CHOCOLATE GLAZE (HEATED):
1. IN SMALL SAUCE PAN, PLACE SUGAR, BUTTER AND MILK WARM UNTIL MIXTURE BOILS. ALLOW TO BOIL FOR 1 MINUTE WHILE STIRRING CONSTANTLY.
2. REMOVE PAN FROM HEAT AND STIR IN CHOCOLATE CHIPS.
