In a large mixing bowl, mix warm water, sugar and yeast together and let sit for 5 minutes. Add butter, eggs and salt. Mix well.
Add 6 cups of flour - 1 cup at a time, mixing well between each cup. Once all ingredients are mixed well, lay a damp dish towel on top of the bowl and place in a warm area and allow dough to rise to double in size (1-1.5 hours).
After dough has risen, remove from bowl and knead well. Break into golf ball sized chunks and place on a cookie sheet about 2 inches apart.
Allow rolls to rise again (30 mins to an hour). Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Bake rolls for 10-12 minutes. Brush with butter while still hot.
