Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs and beat until fluffy. Add yogurt, lemon peel, vanilla and cinnamon. Sift salt. Add to the creamed mixture and blend well. Fold in almonds.
Pour into greased 9X13-inch baking pan and bake in a preheated 350 degree oven until top is light chestnut color, about 45 minutes. Let cool on a rack, then remove from pan. Serves 12-16
