The proportions above make 4 servings but you can make 8 servings easily by doubling all ingredients except the lasagna noodles. I typically do it this way because it allows you to use up the whole package of noodles and freeze 1 or more lasagnas for later. You can make a 2 serving size lasagna by using a loaf pan, a 4 serving size lasagna by using a square 8 x 8 pyrex dish or an 8 serving lasagna by using a 3 qt rectangular pyrex dish.
