* Dissolve the yeast in a little warm water, add to mixture, cover and let rise for one hour. Turn and knead batter and let her rise for an additional 10 minutes.
* Using a large spoon, scoop mixture and drop into a pot with very hot oil, turning occasionally until golden brown.
* Remove from the oil and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
