Texas style chili at its best
Cut/slice meat to desired size and brown. Add puree, tomatoes, paste to 6 qt. crockpot. Add browned meat to crockpot. Carmelize onion, garlic and peppers and add to crockpot. De-glaze browning pan with red wine and add to crockpot. Add balance of ingredients to crockpot. Mix and cook on low for 6 hours. Refrigerate OVERNIGHT. Re-heat and serve the NEXT DAY.
